CosMedic Clinic opened in 2017 in Invercargill. We are a small boutique style clinic with a focus on delivering natural results. We offer Skincare treatments and injectables.
We treat all of our patients as individuals and do not believe that every face fits into a “package deal”. Treatments are tailored to each unique face and we take great effort to ensure we are able to provide the time and care to address our patients concerns whilst preserving their own unique characteristics to soften the signs of aging and maintain facial balance and harmony.
CosMedic Clinic offers injectables, skin treatments and intense pulsed light (IPL). Injectable treatments include anti-wrinkle injections to relax facial muscles and smooth the overlying skin, and dermal filler treatments made of a hyaluronic acid gel to soften lines and wrinkles, enhance features such as lips and replace volume to help rejuvenate the face. We do not use permanent fillers at CosMedic Clinic and only use fillers that are able to be dissolved to optimise patient safety.
Skin treatments include chemical peels, micro-needling with serum infusion using the DermaFrac system, and IPL to treat pigmentation from sun damage, rosacea, red veins, collagen induction and hair removal. We sell a range of medical grade home skin care products which can be viewed and purchased via the home page under the shop tab. To get the best results from your in clinic treatments we recommend maintenance with a good home based skin care routine from our medical grade skincare range. Please note that the Skin Better Science range of skincare is a prescription skincare range and you must contact us for a consultation prior to purchase. About Jaime Squires
Jaime Squires is a Registered Nurse and the owner of CosMedic Clinic. She has worked in the industry for over 10 years as a Cosmetic Injector and has over 18 years general nursing experience. Jaime believes that safety and experience are paramount in this industry and takes what opportunities she can to upskill and learn.
Jaime is a member of the Cosmetic Appearance Nurses Network of NZ (CANN) and Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative (CMAC). She completed her Appearance Medicine Certificate through Skin Institute with Excellence, and worked here for five years before opening her own clinic. She keeps updated in Cardiac Life Support certification and Laser certification. She attends regular conferences, workshops and webinars to keep up to date with standards of practice and safety measures to optimise patient outcomes in this constantly evolving industry whereby she has had training from some of New Zealand’s most experienced Doctors and Nurses.
Jaime has oversight provided by Dr Henryk Poczwa, owner of Vein and Skin Clinic Wellington, and member of The New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine.

Hours
Clinic hours are Monday to Friday 9.15am to 3pm with a late night Tuesday through to 7.30pm. Reception is covered Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri 9.30am to 1.30pm.
